As I’m sure you already know, it’s time to start planting your spring bulbs, although this should have already been started, it’s still not too late. Check out our other blog on how to care and plants your spring bulbs to get the best results.
You also need to be aware of how to care for your garden during spring so i’m going to give you some top tips!
- Make sure to constantly tidy up flower beds and borders!
- Remove garden pests
- Invest in a water butt to collect rainwater for watering!
- Clean gardening tools to make sure you don’t spread disease between plants
- We have now received our spring range!
This includes rhododendrons and azaleas which are great to add some colour to your garden in the months of March to May, and they can be planted in the ground or in a container depending on your preference! We advise you use Ericaceous compost too for the best results!u
Our roses are now in stock too! They won’t be in full bloom yet but this is the perfect time to plant them, use rose and shrub compost for best results!
Herbs are also a great addition to your garden and can be planted straight away!

Our farm shop has had a magnificent change around and we now have more variety, including new wines and beers and so much more local produce you don’t want to miss out on! We have exciting plans for Easter too!
